The third edition of the Indian Mango Exhibition, locally known as the Hamba Exhibition, is set to open at Souq Waqif’s Eastern Square on June 18, 2026, running for 10 days. Organized jointly by the Private Engineering Office and the Embassy of India in Qatar, the event has quickly established itself as one of the region’s most anticipated seasonal showcases.
This year’s exhibition will feature the participation of 35 Indian companies, marking the largest turnout since the event’s inception. Organizers confirmed that several new mango varieties will be introduced to the Qatari market for the first time, adding to the diversity of products on display.
The Hamba Exhibition has grown into a highlight of Qatar’s touristic and cultural calendar, drawing significant public interest. Last year’s edition attracted more than 114,400 visitors and recorded sales exceeding 130,000 kilograms of mangoes, representing 54 different varieties. Alongside fresh produce, visitors enjoyed a wide range of related food products, including pickles, desserts, and traditional Indian cuisine.
General supervisor Khalid Saif Al Suwaidi noted that the decision to hold the exhibition for a third consecutive year reflects its tremendous success. Originally conceived as a one‑time event, the overwhelming public response transformed it into an eagerly awaited annual tradition.
Organizers expect this year’s visitor numbers and sales to surpass previous records, driven by the larger number of participating companies, the wider product range, and the introduction of new mango varieties. The exhibition will welcome guests daily from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, offering families and food enthusiasts a vibrant cultural experience in the heart of Doha.
